Peter Moylan - Net Publications
This is a list of materials which I supply directly on the
net rather than through the traditional mechanism of
publication in paper journals. You can fetch these either
from my web site or my ftp server.
In addition to the materials mentioned below, you can also
access a list of my
conventional publications.
Documents
- Modula-2
for Pascal programmers (this unfortunately was lost with a change of servers).
- More general information on
Modula-2.
- PMOS
Reference Manual - sorry, this was also lost after a change of servers, but I'll try to recover it.
Software packages
- The PMOS library: a
software collection (written in Modula-2) for developing real-time
applications.
Some subsets of PMOS are also available:
- The PMOS preprocessor - this again has been lost because
of a server problem, but I can try to reconstruct it if there is any
demand.
- Sources for low-level
graphics operations.
- 3-part
music player
which lets you play music through the PC
speaker. This works only under MS-DOS or the earlier versions of
Windows, but could be adapted easily to work in "bare machine" mode.
- Numerical analysis software
(freeware).
- C header
files for a subset of PMOS. These again have been
lost because of a server "upgrade", but I can probably reconstruct them
if there is any demand.
- The Net M2 project: a
cooperative volunteer effort to develop a freeware Modula-2 compiler.
Although this failed for lack of supporters, I'm keeping this page
active in case a similar project restarts.
- A number of OS/2 software packages, mostly for server applications.
